Course Description

Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TC3)

Sustainment This course provides 24 continuing education units (CEUs) required to maintain individual National Registry of Emergency Medical Technician (NREMT) certification. Principles of emergency care will be covered through the use of classroom lectures and hands on training.

M.E.D.I.C. (TC 8-800, Tables I-VIII)

This course provides 48 continuing education units (CEUs) that are essential in maintaining the Army 68W MOS. It consist of 7 skills tables, each focusing on different areas of care. Table 8 serves as validation of the previously learned skills using scenario based training.

72hr 68W Sustainment

This comprehensive course provides all 72 continuing education units (CEUs) that is required biennially in order to maintain the Army 68W MOS and NREMT certification. It is a combination of the 24HR TC3 Sustainment and 48HR MEDIC.

Basic Life Support (CPR)

This course teaches the fundamentals of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) following the American Heart Association guidelines. BLS for the Healthcare Provider (BLS-HCP) is designed for personnel that work in and around a medical setting. HeartSaver AED (HS) is designed for the non-medical personnel who need or are required to be CPR certified in their workplace. All students will receive a CPR card after successfully completing the course.

BLS-INSTRUCTOR

The Basic Lifesaver Instructor Course is a 2 day course, which incorporates familiarization of the course video, hands-on, and all paperwork. Instructors-to-be will be required to take and pass a written exam with a 90% in order to fulfill course requirements. Instructors-to-be will teach a full BLS course on the 2nd day under observation to verify instructor skills. Instructors-to-be will be asked to come back and be monitored again if not up to par. Instructors-to-be must have a current BLS card in order to take the course.

Combat Lifesaver Course (CLS)

This course is designed for the non-medical Service Member and provides advanced tactical first aid training beyond the level of self-aid or buddy care.
